The Orlando Sentinel reports that Jamie DeWolf, great-grandson of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, will speak at next week’s anti-Scientology conference “Flag Down 2014.”

The five-day conference begins Monday, May 5, in Clearwater. Organizers say it will reveal “the abusive conditions, financial exploitation, coerced abortions and broken families that lie behind the Scientology organization’s veneer of religiosity.”

DeWolf is the grandson of Ronald DeWolf, who helped build his father’s Scientology empire in the 1950s but later denounced him as a fraud. DeWolf has described Scientology as “the most brilliantly engineered pyramid scam I’ve ever seen” and Clearwater as “a city they bullied their way into and devoured.”

His video “The God and the Man” received more than 500,000 views in two days.

  1. Jamie is great. He has inherited from L. Ron his red hair and his enthralling presence on stage
